BURP

BURP is designed to equip students with an in-depth understanding of spatial planning, sustainable development, and urban and rural environmental management.

there are 3 enrollment options, those are: National Selection Based on Performance (SNBP); National Selection Based Test (SNBT); dan Independent Track (SMUB)

The following are some of the requirements that must be fulfilled for prospective BURP students:

  • Indonesian citizens (WNI) who have a Population Identification Number (NIK).
  • senior high school/vocational senior high school/islamic senior high school in Grade 12 or the last grade in the current year.
  • Package C students in the current year with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1 of the current year).
  • Students who do not have a diploma in points 3 and 4, must bring a certificate of 12th grade students at least accompanied by:
  • Identity, including name, class, NISN and NPSN;
  • Recent photograph (color);
  • Signature of the school principal and School seal/stamp.

  • Graduates of Package C in the last 3 years of the current year with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1 of the current year).
  • High school graduates from overseas must have an equivalent diploma that has been equalized.
  • Participants who choose a study program in the field of Arts and/or Sports are required to upload a portfolio.
  • Have adequate health so as not to interfere with the smooth running of the study process.
  • BURP can accept students with disabilities: deaf, slow learning, colour blindness, and partial colour blindness
  • Must upload a Drug Free Certificate

MURP

MURP aims to produce master graduates who are competent in the field of planning and play an active role in national development. This program is a form of actualisation of the URP Department in developing knowledge and expertise in urban and regional planning.

MURP is supported by various domestic and international collaborations and is a member of ASPI and APSA to achieve international standards. Programme management is conducted in a transparent and accountable manner through the implementation of academic, research, and community service standards.

The following are some of the requirements that must be fulfilled for prospective MURP students:

  • Indonesian citizen;
  • Graduate from an bachelor programme related to the field of study of Urban and Regional Planning with a minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Selection participants have adequate health so as not to interfere with the smooth learning process in their study program.
  • MURP can accept students with disabilities: deaf, slow learning, colour blindness, and partial colour blindness
  • Completeness of documents that need to be uploaded in online registration:
  • Recent color self-photo
  • Bachelor diploma and transcript
  • Certificate of Academic Potential Test with a minimum score of 480
  • English proficiency test (TOEFL) with minimum score 480
  • Must upload a Drug Free Certificate
  • Identity Card
  • Letter of Permission / Assignment from the agency (for those who are already working, and for those who pay their own expenses, no letter of permission / assignment is required)

Fast Track Scheme

The Fast Track programme allows outstanding students to complete their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a shorter period of time. Eligible students can start taking Master courses while still in the 6th semester of the BURP.

With this system, students can obtain a Master's degree faster than the regular track, so that they are better prepared to enter the academic and professional world with superior competence.

The following are some of the requirements that must be met for prospective students of the Fast Track Programme of BURP. PWK FT-UB:

  • Active student of BURP
  • Currently taking semester 6 (six) and have passed at least 110 (one hundred and ten) credits at the end of the semester with a GPA: More than or equal to 3.50 with a grade of at least B with the lowest grade of C or C+ in a maximum of 4 courses (Rector's Circular No. 5469/UN 10/PP/2020 on the Declaration of Accelerated Programme Registration Requirements ofFast Track Programme of BURP.at least equal to 3.25 with a minimum course grade of B.
  • Have a TOEFL ITP score.
  • Obtain recommendations from lecturers with doctoral degrees with the lowest academic position of lector/Asistant Professor.
  • Obtain approval and ability to finance education from parents/guardians/and or other parties.

Bilingual Class (AY 2024/2025)

In support of global competitiveness, BURP organises Bilingual Classes, which are classes where both English and Indonesian are used in the learning process. This programme is designed to provide a broader learning experience and open up opportunities for students to continue their studies or careers at the international level.

The following are some of the requirements that must be met for prospective students of the BURP Bilingual Class Programme:

  • Exclusively for BURP class of 2024.
  • 1 class (conducted bilingually) with a student quota of max. 30 people.
  • Courses for which bilingual implementation is planned:
  • Land Use and Development course
  • Urban Planning course
  • Location and Spatial Pattern Analysis course
  • Planning Theory course
